Linda J. Thompson

BEAVER FALLS – Linda Jean Thompson, 65, of Beaver Falls Road, died Sunday evening, August 13, 2017 at her home. 

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, with Pastor Paul Cornell officiating.  Burial will private and at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the The Lewis County Hospital Foundation for Caitlyn R. Pate’ Fund, 7785 North State Street, Lowville, NY 13367.                                   

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband of nearly 32 years, Richard; a son and daughter-in-law, Tod and Christine Hamburg and their children, Alyssa, Michael, Brendan and Connor of Lowville, a daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Brandon Boshart and their children, Cadence, William, Bryce and Brayden, of Castorland; her mother-in-law, Ann Thompson of North Bellmore, NY.  She is also survived by a large extended family.  She is predeceased by her father-in-law, Richard J. Thompson.

Linda was born on April 3, 1952 in Clifton Springs, NY, a daughter of the late Rolland and Virginia Carney Reddout and graduated from Mid Lakes High School in Phelps, NY in 1970.  On September 14, 1985, she married Richard A. Thompson in North Bellmore, NY.  The couple has made their home in Beaver Falls for the past 19 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, coloring, and cats.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
