LOWVILLE- JillAnne M. Bush, 47, of Park Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Upstate Medical University Hospital, Syracuse, New York.

A funeral Mass will be said at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville, with Rev. James W. Seymour, Pastor, officiating.  Calling hours will be Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, NY 13367.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Jeff Back Pack Program, P.O. Box 49, Adams Center, NY 13606.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; her father, Doug Brodie of Lowville; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert J. and Tammy McElroy of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Colleen McElroy of Houston, Texas; Jennifer and Robert Hanno of Lowville; an aunt, Peggy Mooney of LeRoy, NY; four nieces and one nephew.  She is predeceased by her mother, Jane Brodie.

JillAnne was born on May 19, 1970 in Batavia, NY, a daughter of Doug Brodie and the late Jane Mancuso Brodie.  She graduated from Lowville Academy in 1988.  While in school, she was a member of the cheerleading squad. She graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a master’s degree in education.  She worked as a middle school teacher for South Jefferson Central School at Clarke Middle School for the past 21 years, currently teaching sixth grade.

JillAnne was a communicant of St. Peter’s Church. She enjoyed reading, crafts, cooking.  She loved her cats through the years.  She was proud of her historic Victorian home and enjoyed taking care of the flowers that surrounded it. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her family, and cherished the time she spent with her nieces.
