LOWVILLE – Jeanette P. Ash, 70, of River Street, died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Upstate Medical University Hospital.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville, with Rev. Christopher Carrara, Pastor of St. Peter's Catholic Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Brantingham Cemetery. A gathering at 3 G Fire Department will immediately follow the burial.  All are welcome.  Any food donations may be dropped off to the 3 G Fire Department any time after 9 a.m. on Friday.  Contributions may be made in Jeanette’s memory to St. Peter’s Church, 5457 Shady Ave, Lowville, NY 13367.   

She is survived by her husband, Richard; a daughter, Candy Griswold of Georgia; a stepson and his wife, Richard and Lisa Kesel of Liverpool; 3 brothers and their spouses, Patrick and Kyong Cha Nellenback of Great Bend; Benjamin Nellenback of Glenfield; Marshall and Kelley Nellenback of Chittenango; 4 sisters and their spouses, Bonnie and Theron Scoville of Pulaski; Brenda Nellenback of Tully; Doreen and Maynard Olmstead of Glenfield; Joanne and Daniel Fahey of Syracuse; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Ash is predeceased by two sisters, Ruby Jean Hawk and Linda Lou Nellenback and a brother, Frederick Nellenback.

Jeanette was born on September 16, 1945, in Boonville, NY, a daughter of the late Martin and Lavina Nellenback.  She graduated from South Lewis High School and went on to complete 2 years at beauty school.  On June 24, 1967, she married Richard L. Ash at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Constableville, with Father Jerecki officiating. 

Mrs. Ash was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville. 

She loved Elvis and anything pink, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
