Glenn A. Foote Jr.

GLENFIELD – Glenn A. Foote, Jr. 66, of State Route 12, passed away Thursday evening, February 25, 2016 at his home. 

A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Community Assembly of God, Lowville, with Rev. Paul Allen II, son-in-law, officiating.  A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church fellowship hall.  Food donations may be dropped off at the church fellowship hall starting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Mr. Foote is survived by his wife, Cyd “Chydy” (LaTour) Foote of Plattsburgh; four daughters, Laurie and Paul Allen II of Bradford, CT; Lisa and Paul Krzywkowski of Lakeland, FL; Danielle Latour and Chantelle Latour, both of Plattsburgh; his siblings, Nora and Harold Moody of Lowville; Irene Williams of Glenfield; Ronald and Asun Foote of Pensacola, FL; twins, Robert and Bobbie Foote of Rome; Roberta and Peter Jantzi of Lowville; Dale and Cheryl Foote of Glenfield; four grandchildren, Paul, Samantha, Caleb and Marley;  nieces, nephews, cousins.  He is also survived by his special friends Joseph and wife Laena Sokoloski.  He is predeceased by a sister, Linda Foote.

Glenn was born on January 9, 1950 in Lowville, NY, a son of the late Glenn A. Foote, Sr. and Jessie Freeman Foote.    He graduated from General Martin High School, and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving over twenty years.  After his retirement from the service, he moved to Saudi Arabia, where he worked for the Air Force and Boeing in Riyadh.

Glenn was an avid sports enthusiast, and was a fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
