Geoffrey Thomas Marks

CROGHAN - Geoffrey Thomas Marks, 26, of Main Street, Croghan, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 14, 2016.

A funeral service will be on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.   Calling hours will be from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Contributions in his memory may be made to the Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box 682, Lowville, NY  13367.

He is survived by his parents, William and Gail Marks of Glenfield; a sister, Sarah Ann Marks (28); a brother, Morgan Dean Marks (18); his paternal grandmother, Marie Marks of Brisben, NY; his maternal grandparents, Carroll “Fred” and Vivian Huntington of Holland Patent, NY; many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Lyle “Tom” Marks.

Geoffrey was born on April 4, 1990, a son of William David Marks and Gail Janette Huntington Marks.  He graduated from Lowville Academy and Central School in 2008, and from Wake Forest University in 2013, where he was a member of the DKE fraternity.  Geoffrey worked as a Business Growth Analyst for Dealcloud, LLC, and was a Global Talent Acquisition Specialist for Invue Security Products.  He had also worked as Quality Technician for Allied Motion, and had been employed by RBI Bats, Burrville Cider Mill, Vinny’s Pizzeria, The Rooted Drifter in Carthage, and MJS Trash Services.
