Fred L. Pridell

LOWVILLE-The funeral for Fred L. Pridell, Sr. 76, formerly of East Road, Lowville, will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, with Rev. George Gray officiating.  Burial will be in Swinburne Cemetery, Deer River.  Mr. Pridell passed away on Thursday evening, July 14, 2016 at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility surrounded by family members.

Surviving are four sons and two daughters-in-law, Fred L. Pridell Jr. of Watertown, Ronald K. and Connie Pridell of Lowville, Timothy Pridell and his companion, Laurie Carr of Queensbury, Dennis and Valerie Pridell of Lowville; a daughter, Tracy Beaman of Frankfort; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Pridell of Rochester; three sisters, Marjorie “Marge” Finn of Weedsport, NY; Inez Roggie of Natural Bridge, and Betty Tripp of Champion.  He is predeceased by his wife, Diane; a brother, Robert Pridell, and a sister, Ruth Weatherhead.

Mr.Pridell was born on December 1, 1939 in West Carthage, NY, a son of the late Maurice and Nera Bosco Pridell.  On February 22, 1961, he married Diane E. David at Black River Episcopal Church.  Fred worked at Champion International for 38 years, retiring in 1999. 

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, camping, watching old western movies, and spending time with his family.
