Francis C. "Frank" Farr

CASTORLAND – Francis C. “Frank” Farr, 72, of Van Amber Road, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017, at his home, after a long battle with cancer, under the care of his family and Lewis County Hospice. 

Frank lived most of his life in Lowville, where he worked at AMF for nearly 40 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bernie; five children, Tammy Michael; Tracy Farr; Charlie Farr; Scott Farr; and Tricia Shultz, and their spouses; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends, and his step-father.  He is predeceased by his mother, father, brother and sister.

A graveside service will be held at the Martinsburg Cemetery on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Donald J. Manfred, Pastor of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367.
