LOWVILLE – Dominic Dejlitko, 66, of Meadowbrook Terrace, Carthage, formerly of Lowville, passed away June 7, 2016 at Carthage Area Hospital.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral. Burial will be held privately in Martinsburg Cemetery. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
He is survived by a daughter, Becky, and his two grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Janina and Henry Karelus of Lowville; a brother, John Dejlitko of New Haven, CT; three nieces and two nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Joseph Dejlitko.
Dominic was born on June 19, 1949 in Hanover, Germany, a son of the late Julian and Tekla Usenko Dejlitko. He lived in Connecticut for many years, where he worked as a machinist. Mr. Dejlitko was transferred by his company to work in their facility in Georgia, before moving to Lowville in 1991. He most recently resided at Meadowbrook Terrace in Carthage.
Dominic enjoyed woodworking in his younger years. He enjoyed puzzles, reading and movies.
