PORT LEYDEN – Debbie Patchen Henry, 51, of Penny Settlement Road, passed away Thursday morning, October 6, 2016, at her home, under the loving care of her family and Lewis County Hospice.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville, with Rev. Canon Samuel P. Lundy officiating. Burial will be held in Wildwood Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home.  A celebration of life luncheon will be held at the Lyons Falls Park Pavillion immediately following the burial.  Any food donations may be brought directly to the pavilion anytime after 12 Noon on Saturday.  Contributions may be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367 or Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box 682, Lowville, NY 13367. 

She is survived by her significant other, Raymond Poore, Jr.; two children, William Henry and Stephanielyn Derosia of Copenhagen; Nicole Henry and Travis Bennett of Watertown; her mother, Patricia Patchen of LaFargeville; six siblings, JoAnne Bruce of Lake Placid; Karen Verdegaal of Clayton; Donna Patchen and Travis Rogers of LaFargeville; Michael and Jenny Patchen of Clayton; Kevin and Richelle Patchen of LaFargeville; Paul and Nancy Patchen of Depauville; two grandchildren, Karter and Cali; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved dog, Gilbert.  She is predeceased by her father, Ira Patchen, and by a brother, William Patchen.

Debbie was born on May 11, 1965 in Watertown, NY, a daughter of the late Ira Patchen and Patricia Maine Patchen.  She graduated with honors from LaFargeville Central School in 1983, as valedictorian of her class.  Debbie attended Jefferson Community College, graduating in 1985.  She worked for local companies until beginning her employment with the Village of Copenhagen in 1989, where she began working in the water and waste industry.  In 1994, Debbie began employment with the Development Authority of the North Country (DANC), where she worked until 2006, when she went to work for Ecolab, retiring as Regional Manager in October 2015.

Debbie was an active member and past President of Lewis County Search and Rescue for more than 20 years.  She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.
