CONSTABLEVILLE – Charleen A. Kirk, 62, of West St., Constableville, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at her home, under the loving care of her family and Lewis County Hospice.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, with Rev. Mr. Ronald Pominville, officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Constableville.  Calling hours will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the funeral home.  Contributions in her memory may be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY  13367.

She is survived by a her children, Lisa and Chris Carver, of Mooresville, NC; Ryan Kirk of Constableville; Matthew and Niki Kirk of Florida; Aaron and Stephanie Kirk of Lyons Falls; her mother and step father, Claris and Warren Levensailor of Port Leyden; her sisters and brother, Sheila Croneiser and her companion, Jim Trombley of Lyons Falls; Bill and Terri Croneiser of Turin; Ramona Croneiser of Boonville; three grandchildren, Logan and Hallie Carver and Madelynn Kirk; her mother-in-law, Mildred Kirk of Constableville.   Charleen is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence H. Kirk, Jr. who died June 3, 2014; by her father, Raymond W. Croneiser; and by her father-in-law, Lawrence H. Kirk, Sr.

Charleen was born on August 24, 1954 in Lowville, NY, a daughter of the late Raymond W. Croneiser and Claris J. Edick Croneiser.  She graduated from South Lewis Central School in 1972.  While in school she attended the Howard G. Sackett Technical Center, B.O.C.E.S. in Glenfield for nursing.  On June 29, 1974, she married Lawrence H. Kirk, Jr. at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville.   Charleen worked in maternity at Lewis County General Hospital, and worked for several other hospitals and nursing homes in New York and North Carolina.  She was currently employed by the D.D.S.O. in Castorland, where she has worked for several years.

Charleen enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, traveling, and her Boston Terriers.
