Bowman Merry

LOWVILLE – Bowman Merry, 54, of Hoch Road, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his home.

There will be no calling hours or funeral.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bowman Merry to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.                                   

Bowman is survived by his father, Ronald Merry of Lowville; five siblings, Deborah (Jim) Gorzalkowski of Boonville, Dean (Sherry) Merry of Lowville, Dora Potter of Lowville, Diane (Joey) Sweenor of St. Cloud, FL, Ronald “Bud” Merry Jr. of Cleveland, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is predeceased by his mother, Judith Merry, and a brother, Douglas Merry.

He was born on September 7, 1963 in Lowville, New York, a son of Ronald F. Merry and the late Judith Flint Merry and graduated from Lowville Academy in 1981.  He worked for P & C Foods, Lowville for more than twenty-five years.  He then worked as a handy man and enjoyed helping his neighbors.  Bowman enjoyed four wheeling and was an avid NASCAR and football fan.
