Bethany R. (Hall) Falton

LOWVILLE – Bethany R. Falton , 72, of Ridge Road, Lowville, died Thursday morning, February 18, 2016 at Samaritan Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Bethel Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Keith W. Hardy Jr., Pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Annex.  Calling hours will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 7476 State Route 12, Lowville, NY  13367.

She is survived by two sons, David Lambert and his companion, Tracy Lehman of New Bremen, Dennis and Tammie Lambert of Castorland; three sisters, Martha and Richard Campany of Croghan; Carolyn and Donald Schneider of Brantingham; Melissa Widrick and her companion, Larry Klosner of Watson, a grandson, Brandon Lambert and his companion, Kristen Widrick, and their daughter, Harlie, and Kristen’s son, Brian; nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by a sister, Naomi R. Hall Snow; and by a brother, Stanley Hall, who died at two years of age.

Bethany was born on March 8, 1943 in Lowville, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Vera Crouse Hall.  She attended Beaver River Central School.  She married Vernon Lambert on July 3, 1962, at Bethel Church of the Nazarene.  Mr. Lambert died November 14, 1986.  Bethany worked for Beaverite Products in Beaver Falls, before going to work for Kraft Foods in Lowville, where she worked for many years until her retirement.  She married Michael J. Falton, Jr. on May 22, 1993 at the Beaver Falls United Methodist Church.   Mr. Falton died June 18, 2013.

Bethany loved playing bingo, playing Pogo on the computer, board games, and dice with her friends and family.  She enjoyed watching her family bowl.  Bethany loved her fish aquarium and her cat.  She enjoyed Facebook.  Bethany loved holiday decorating.
