As our Mother,s roommate, Anne was the kindest most sincere person that we could ever have had the honor of Mom being roommates with. I remember the first day I introduced myself and she let me know that she does not talk to people unless spoken to first and she held true to this . However, I often spoke to her as my brothers did and we enjoyed our talks. Just before she passed, I had taken my Mom down to the gift shop and she had picked out a stuffed Ty cat for Ann, since she was having a bit of a rough day. she liked that very much. she will be greatly missed. Thank you for sharing yourMom with my Mom and us.

To both Ashley, Lindsey and family - I have many fond memories of your mom! My mother so enjoyed her as a neighbor and then later as Mom was in the nursing home, they ended up on the same floor. I would stop in and visit her when I was visiting Mom. I enjoyed those visits as she was such a pleasant lady and always wore a smile!

I was a housekeeper on Annie floor in the nursing home. There were days she was melancholy and would be a bit weepy. I would always take the time to sit with her for a few moments and before too long we would be giggling. Sometimes it would just be me calling her "Annie Bananie Hershey Bar"...and she would call me "rattley bag" because every time I replaced her garbage bag I would shake it out. I will truly miss her. She also attended the "Ladies Fellowship" on Monday afternoons when she wasn't too tired.

Thank you, Marilyn, for caring enough to take a moment to put laughter into Annie's day when she was feeling down. I appreciate that so much and I'm sure my sister did also.
